In 2012, Dee Allen, owner of The Bridal Box, began conducting wedding planning workshops with the goal of helping bride and grooms to be to gain confidence in planning their weddings and understanding the importance of being prepared on their wedding day. These two hour workshops highlight several wedding planning issues and emphasizes topics such as setting and tracking budgets, assigning duties and responsibilities, organizing a seating chart, interviewing wedding service providers, compatibility, prioritizing and organizing the whole event to maintain your sanity, and MORE!  If you can’t attend a workshop, you can still order the workbooks here.

The Bridal Box offers a bundled product where brides and grooms can purchase a bride’s emergency case with the two wedding planning workbooks for one low price, saving them $10.

BIO – DEE ALLEN, OWNER

Today, she lives in southeastern Idaho with her wonderful and loving husband and two cats. Four years ago, she realized there was a huge need to solve brides’ wedding day emergencies and launched The Bridal Box with its first product, The Bride’s Case, a vintage train case holding +/- 45 pieces of everyday items to cover many emergency issues for the bride.  Then in 2012, she launched The Bridal Box’s first wedding planning workshop with much success, and today continues to provide updated, valuable information to engaged couples who are in the planning stages of the wedding process.  The two-hour workshops mainly cover creating budgets and tracking expenses; how to interview and negotiate with wedding service providers; how to monitor the 12-month check-off lists laying out what to do when; and through the role-playing exercises, couples learn how to confront and resolve sensitive issues.

The Bridal Box business has grown immensely in the past four years, mainly due to the fact that the vintage train cases are unique to The Bridal Box, and the wedding planning workshops are the only classes offered in southeastern Idaho.  For the past two years, she has been writing wedding articles for the Pocatello Magazine, EzineArticles.com, and has appeared many times on KPVI’s channel 6, The More Show, spouting her expert wedding advice to the surrounding communities.  Dee’s main objective is to educate newly engaged couples about the wedding planning process through her prepare-to-be-prepared philosophy, as she continues to create new ways to help the bride and groom stay focused and organized so they don’t become overwhelmed.  Dee is always delighted to watch how couples attending the two-hour workshops transform from clueless to confident and depart feeling more empowered and in control–after all, weddings are supposed to be fun.
